Daniel WIGSON was born at the beginning of the 18C, but his place of birth has not been identified. He achieved settlement in the village of Tysoe, but there he was a casual agricultural labourer, made to wait for any work that might be available. He baptised his children in the village, and was buried there in 1787. One of his daughters married John BAYLIS and also spent her life in the village.
